WILD

Inspiration

And what it means to me

Internal

Internal inspiration is about how individuals within our class lift each other. Leadership doesn't work without this concept, and the only way we do things as a group is through, in some way, inspiring one another.

It's also the root of change. The reality is you're the one who decides to make this year wild - my job is to lay it out and inspire you to do so. I can't do this alone.

External

External inspiration is less controllable but can have a greater effect. The idea is if we structure our class in a cultural way and build a stronger community, classes outside of ours will strive for that too. In turn, OHS will be strengthened now, and in the future. This can be our class's legacy.

Foundation Form

We'll be starting off by taking inspiration from you first. On September 8th, Alex and I will launch the initial release of the Foundation Form. This is a simple way for every freshman to submit ideas, concerns, or opportunities they want to see built into our class experience. We'll leave this form open throughout the school year, and integrate the thoughts from them as they come in.

You'll be able to find the initial release here.

Study Circles

Inspiring each other academically is also a crucial part of the concept. We'll set up study circles for MSB, TAA/LAA, and R&R. Support will be in the form of watch parties, peer reviews, questions, reminders, and study calls that hopefully don't dissolve into chaos.
